I’m making the most of being at home (#quarantinelife). Every day I have taken the time to re-evaluate my skin-care routine. I’m focusing on what products really benefit me and those that do not. I have recently just upgraded my skin-care routine to adapt to all aspects of my skin’s condition. In this post, I am going to share some of my skin-care faves and dupes! Some of these items are a little bit on the pricey side so I wanted to include dupes as well (cause you
Mad Hippie: I have just started using Mad Hippie and let me start off by saying that I love it. I had left the box that it came in down and I think my sister stole it. So at first, I didn’t know what it did and I kept forgetting to do some investigating on it. One day while I was doing the dishes, I was listening to What We Said podcast, and Chelsey had mentioned Mad Hippie as one of her skin-care must-haves and went on to explain that it’s a chemical exfoliator and it helps to get rid of texturized skin. I have little bumps on my forehead and it’s not acne or pimples they are just little bumps and Mad Hippie has been smoothing them out and making my forehead feel so soft. I really recommend it if you are looking to get rid of textured skin. I have the vitamin A serum but there’s also a vitamin C serum as well.
Mad Hippie Dupe: The Ordinary has been very popular lately. I’ve seen it all over social media and it seems to be just as good as Mad Hippie. They have a number of different serums and chemical exfoliators that works just as good for half the price! It seems like a good deal to me. Click here to explore more of The Ordinary.
Thayers Lemon Blemish Stick: I love Thayers! I was super excited to try this blemish stick because I have a few blemishes on my cheeks and I really wanted something that would help to get rid of them. I have been using this blemish stick and to my surprise, my blemishes are getting lighter and it’s a lot less noticeable in my pictures! I don’t have a dupe for this product because it’s already pretty inexpensive.
Derma-e Blue Light Shield Spray: I’ve never had a setting spray before, but I love this one. You can use it in different ways but for me, I like to use it to set my make-up and it works really well. It feels very refreshing and it reduces the
Derma-e Blue Light Shield Spray Dupe: Mario Badescu is very popular especially on Instagram and it’s everyone’s fave setting spray. Not only is it a must-have, but It’s also very inexpensive and highly rated on Ulta. Click here for all Mario Badescu products.
Burt’s Bees Daily Moisturizing Cream: I love using this moisturizer before putting on make-up because it
Acure Brightening Facial Scrub: I love Acure but I specifically love their scrubs! I don’t use their scrubs every day because it’s not good to use scrubs on your face super regularly. For me, I like using scrubs when my face is really dry. I love Acure, but if you have REALLY sensitive skin, then I wouldn’t recommend. Also, if you are not willing to pay $18 for this product, then there are a number of other facial scrubs that you could find.
Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner: I love this toner. It’s so refreshing on the skin and it helps with evening out skin complexion. Super hydrating for the skin and it feels really amazing. It’s definitely a little pricey but I found a dupe that I think you all will love.
Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner Dupe: I have the Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner by Thayers and it’s the most refreshing thing ever! It leaves your skin feeling as cool as a cucumber and it’s really amazing. I would 10/10 recommend if you don’t want to spend too much on toner. Click here to check it out.
Well, I hope you found a little insight into my daily routine. I hope for some, that this was helpful!
