Happy Fashion Friday! It’s the first Fashion Friday in 2022!!! Today, I’m home all day because it’s a snow day and I couldn’t be more excited to be able to take fun pictures in the snow. I’ve recently been experimenting with my style and trying to see what aesthetic I feel most confident in. So, this week I am featuring an alt-indie grunge kinda look. Also, I’ve been appreciating thrifting a lot more lately and not only is it fun as a hobby, it’s so cool to find older but really cute pieces.
Anyways, today I am featuring utility overalls that I recently got from Urban Outfitters. Although Urban is really pricey, sometimes I like to treat myself! I am obsessed with the color and the bungee cord detail in the front. The only thing that’s off about the overalls is it’s length. I am pretty short and these overalls are incredibly long on me but I actually kinda like that. To help the length of the overalls, I paired them with my new Doc Martens! They are my first all black and platform ones that I’ve owned which I am very excited about. It snowed so much last night that they were covered in snow and it’s hard to see them in the pictures but this definitely won’t be the last Fashion Friday I feature them in!
The black vinyl jacket that I’m wearing is probably my best thrift find ever. Faux black leather jackets have been a staple going into this year and I am so excited about this one that I found from Second Avenue. The undershirt is also thrifted and a classic black turtle neck is a must-have in every closet!
Overall, This is the perfect winter outfit and I can’t wait to wear this out!
