In my last post, I talked mainly about why we decided to go to Oklahoma City and the hotel that we stayed in. In this post, I will talk more about the things I saw, and did!
Myriad Botanical Garden: This botanical garden is in the heart of Oklahoma City and is unlike other botanical gardens that I’ve been to. The garden itself is really big and is surrounded by glass in the shape of a cylinder. It’s so cool! It features a tropical region and a desert region! There are two levels. The second level features a skywalk where you can see the plants from above and it was really awesome! For more info on the Myriad Botanical Garden, click here.

Wheeler Ferris Wheel: Originally, we thought that this was a park but it is actually a hand out spot for locals. The location was empty and there wasn’t much to do. I wanted to ride the Ferris wheel but it was too windy so they wouldn’t let us on. The area was pretty and I could see how that would be the hang out spot! Pie Junkie: Honestly the cutest little pie shop/bakery! Not only can they successfully fulfill your sweet tooth orders, but they also have savory breakfast quiches! The service was great! I ordered the spinach bacon cheddar quiche for breakfast. To go, I ordered the peach blackberry crumble pie. They were both amazing! If you ever decide to visit Oklahoma, check out Pie Junkie! Pops 66 Soda Ranch: This little gas station off of the famous route 66 highway is way more than just an average gas station! This fancy gas station is known for its different soda pops! The outside of the little shop is made out of glass and in the window, the walls are lined with different soda! I got to try all different kinds of soda! I tried butterscotch soda, vanilla caramel, Shirley temple and more! I really enjoyed checking out all of the weird flavored soda! For more info on Pops, click here.

I had a lot of fun in Oklahoma City and I think I would go back! I really enjoyed eating good food and trying new things. Until my next adventure…
