Happy Sock Sunday! This week, I will be reading The Truth About Twinkie Pie by Kat Yeh. When I read the synopsis I wasn’t exactly sure what this book would be about, but what I do know is that it has something to do with two sisters who have moved from South Carolina to the North Shore of Long Island and Twinkie pies. The fact that there wasn’t really any indication of what the plot is going to be about has me very curious as to what this book will be about. (Yes, I need to know more about the Twinkie Pies 😄. The plot has to be delicious right?!)
Synopsis:
Take two sisters making it on their own: brainy twelve-year-old GiGi and junior-high-dropout-turned-hairstylist DiDi. Add a million dollars in prize money from a national cooking contest and a move from the trailer parks of South Carolina to the North Shore of Long Island.
