This outfit was inspired by my mom who is the kind of person that when she goes to a formal event or party, she likes to wear a causal outfit but something has to be so unique that outfit itself will stand out from the crowd. (As she would say, “It’s almost like a conversational piece.”)
That was my inspiration for my first day outfit. I wanted to do something different, so I added these blue (#airportblue) pants to this very cute summery dress. My mom has always told me “When you wear something that makes you feel good about yourself, it helps you feel more confident.” I must admit, I was nervous about going to Middle School and I wanted to do something to boost my confidence and I feel like this concept worked!
I’m ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with my shoes. These shoes are from Steve Madden. The dress is from Poof Girls and the pants are from Squeez. My backpack is from Vera Bradley. I love Vera Bradley. I like that their style is finding unique patterns and colors and putting them together.
Overall, I have to admit my first day of middle school was awesome and I LOVED my first day outfit it served it’s purpose well!
