Recently, I received a wonderful care package from Primal Kitchen to help me with my journey of trying different healthy foods (See Summer Project Post) and this yummy Mayo with Avocado Oil was part of the package. I love BLT’s and my family has them often but I wanted to try something a little different. I’ve been seeing beautiful pictures of avocado toast floating around on Instagram and I’ve never tried it before. I love avocados and I make guacamole at least once a week. Once I love something it’s so hard for me to use my sacred ingredients on making something else but since I had this Mayo on hand I was like why not. (Plus, that’s my new mission! Try different ingredients and recipes!)
Basically, what I did was spread a little of Primal Kitchen’s Mayo with Avocado oil on some toast and then I put some avocado with sea salt and tomato on top. Totally yummy! The mayo has just the right amount of tang to it that gives this open sandwich life!
If you see below, one half of the toast has mashed and the other sliced. I wanted to see which I would like best and mashed totally won. It’s creamy and it covers more of the bread than the sliced, so I totally recommend it this way.
Primal Kitchen’s Mayo with Avocado Oil is Keto Friendly. My parents love Keto friendly products. They wouldn’t eat bread so this recipe may not work for them but I’m a kid and I still need a little bit of carbs in my life! My dad could easily throw the mayo on his Lettuce Wrap BLT! This mayo is made with real ingredients and has no artificial coloring, preservatives, or additives. It’s all Natural! It fits many other healthy eating lifestyles such as Paleo, Whole30, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and others. They have other mayos that I can’t wait to try such as Chipotle Lime and Garlic Aioli. They sound so yummy and either of these would probably be a delight to try on avocado toast as well.
Stay tuned… I have more yummy recipes and ideas on how to use some of Primal Kitchen’s healthy products (plus reviews on their snack bars).
