Looking for an easy remedy to destress and help you fall asleep? Moon Milk is here to save the day! While scrolling on Pinterest, my mom found a cool Moon Milk guide and of course we had to try it! I wanted to show the ingredients that I used to make my Moon Milk and share why I love it so much.
What is Moon Milk?:
Moon Milk is a new trendy drink that is a non-dairy and plant-based warm milk that often includes adaptogens, sweeteners, herbs or dried flowers, spices, and healthy fats.
What are the Benefits of Moon Milk?:
Moon Milk is used as a remedy to help reduce stress and help you fall asleep faster. Other benefits includes a boost in immunity, improved symptoms of stress and anxiety, and improved symptoms insomnia.
Here’s the Ingredients I used:
For my Adaptogens I chose to use the ashwagandha powder which has been proved to have a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. As for my herb, I chose lavender because I absolutely love the scent but there’s other options like rose and chamomile.
For the rest of the drink, I used Coconut Milk because it’s non-dairy and plant-based, Raw Honey because it’s sugar-free, Coconut oil because it’s a healthy fat, and ground cinnamon as my spice. There are many other options as well so feel free to change it up a bit!
