Okay, I must admit… I love Face Masks! They are so much fun and relaxing to me. It doesn’t phase me one little bit that I look gross!
Recently, I’ve been breaking out with acne and even though the face mask doesn’t really work on my acne, it does help to provide nutrients that hydrates and tones (pore clarifying) my skin, and it also soothes my face. (I use other products to treat my acne but I found this mask is a great addition to my weekly regimen.)
It really blows my mind the amount of products that are on the market for skin care.
How does one decide what products works best for them? You can’t always try the same products as your friends because 9 times out of 10, you do not have the same skin type. For treating my acne, I go to a dermatologist. I think most face masks are safe to try but you should make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and the mask you choose is right for your skin type or your regular daily regimen.
(These pictures really crack me up! See masks can be fun!)
This red clay mask, Acure moroccan red clay + argan extract, came in my Spring Beauty Bag from Whole Foods. On the bottle it says, “for all skin types”. I really like their beauty bags. However, sometimes they do include some products that I know are not for me such age defying products. Just a word of advice always make sure you know what you are using before you use it.
Before using Acure, I read the ingredients and directions for use and then I researched the product to find out more about it. I also found others reviews helpful. I really like the fact that this product is vegan, sulfate free, paraben free, and cruelty free. Extra perks to this product is that it smells good and feels amazing on my face.
Overall, I really like Acure’s Red Clay Mask. I have used it now twice a week for a month and it works nicely with my beauty routine. I find that it’s quite relaxing to mask up and let the product do it’s job! (Yes, I know, I got carried away with the amount of pictures on this post but thought they were too funny not to share!)
