Happy Monday! What better way is there to kick off the week than a good ole DIY?! With spring being well in the air, why not?
I decided to do a Spring in a Jar DIY. I love jars! I’ve seen so many jar gifts and they are so inspiring! My mom came across the below jar at a local vintage shop and bought it a few years ago. I love looking at it and thought why not make one for my night stand in my room?! To me it’s fitting for the season. It holds most of the beauties of Spring. Bonus: It’s pretty inexpensive to make and it’s quite easy to do.

Okay, Here we go: (Remember this is really easy to do!)
What you need:
- A Jar (any size you want) I chose a larger jar and I got mine from Michaels, but any craft store you have near by will probably have a decent sized jar as well.
- Rocks (as many different varieties as you want) I also got my rocks from Michaels.
- Succulent plants. I’m using some of the plants, but I’m also using the mat it comes with to support the other flowers
I’m using a variety of different flowers and plants to bring my jar to life and adding a bit of color. With the rest of my supplies, I also got these from Michaels.
Step 1: Layer your rocks anyway you want
Step 2: Add your mat (grid pictured above) for the flowers
Step 3: Add the flowers into the mat any way you want (get creative with it!)
Step 4: Add your last layer of rocks
Optional: Add anything else to make your jar unique! Ribbon around the lid is a cute idea as well. (I forgot to buy some ☹️ but I will probably grab some the next time I go to Michael’s.)
Here’s my finished product:
Overall, I had a great time making this DIY. It’s easy and it turns out so pretty! If you decide to give this DIY a try, send me pics!
