Back to the Roots’ Kitchen Herb Garden is quite unique. (Well, to me!) I was really fascinated with the fact that I could grow my very own organic herb garden from my kitchen window with these cute cans. My organic herb garden includes Basil, Cilantro, Dill, and Mint.
When I first got the cans I went on the Back to the Roots’ website and watched the video on how to properly set up my garden. Then to double check that I was doing everything right I followed the instructions that came in the kit. I don’t have the best green thumb so, I wanted to make sure I was absolutely positively doing everything right. I have to admit it was so SUPER EASY to set up! All you really need to maintain is sun and water.
The REAL exciting part about these magical cans is that in less than a week you actually start to see them grow. I had planned on taking pictures of them every 7 days but on the 6th day, before I went to school I noticed that VOILA they had sprouted! Not like my avocado plant that took like 6 months before I saw anything happen! I will have a post on that soon!

Back to the Roots’ Organic Herb Garden in a Can are gems! This set was gifted to me but I have to admit it’s a gift that literally keeps on giving! I like the fact that they are mess free, no drainage is required, and that it’s really hard to under and over water them due to some pretty awesome technology they have going on. (I can’t explain it if I wanted to but it’s pretty cool!) Anyways, I highly recommend these organic herbs in can garden. They are SUPER COOL! I honestly, can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t enjoy them. The company does a great job with providing you with the information you need to have a successful garden.
This cool little garden definitely goes hand in hand with my summer mission (healthy living/eating). Now, I have my own herbs that I can add to the healthy meals that I plan on making! I’m honestly thinking I will get their Mushroom Growing Kit! That looks just as awesome!

What a great product and post! This would be a really cool science class project. It would also be a cool project for family and consumer science class. You guys could grow your own herbs then use them in a cool recipe.
Also great job on the YouTube video!!!

That’s so cool! I definitely don’t have a green thumb so these would probably be helpful for me haha.

You should definitely try their indoor herb garden! It’s super easy especially if you don’t have a green thumb because they are low maintenance, but still really fun to watch grow! ❤️
